| Public bus #7 transportation is at 7 minutes by foot, and in a quarter
of an hour to the railway station and city. If necessary, we can fetch
you at the post of Hauterive or at the station. A vast net of bus covers
the whole region.
Several steamer lines depart from Neuchâtel to destination of 3 lakes
of Neuchâtel (Neuenburg), Bienne (Biel) and Morat (Murten).
From the village of La Coudre close to the "Hélianthes" (see
map), a funicular reaches within a quarter of an hour the mountain of
Chaumont (1'100m height), where you may enjoy a marvellous panoramic
view, and continue nice pedestrian excursions.
Some sports can be performed within walking distance: heated swimming
pool, swimming in the lake, jogging in the forest. Many other are available
nearby. The lake is one main scenic pole attraction. |
